Our Mission

Our mission is to effectively treat individuals suffering from chemical dependency. Support Systems Homes emphasizes the importance of treating clients with dignity while helping them reintegrate into society as productive, positive individuals.

We achieve this mission by:

  • Providing high quality, cost-effective services through our continuous quality improvement program.
  • Ensuring that our treatment and living environments are safe, supportive and drug-free.
  • Demonstrating significant reductions in client substance use and corresponding quality of life improvements.
  • Providing opportunities for ongoing staff training and education.

Assisting clients in enhancing self-awareness and advancing knowledge through:

  • Providing comprehensive counseling and education.
  • Achieving cooperative partnerships between clinical staff and clients.
  • Providing appropriate referrals and community resources.
  • Effectively representing the interests of substance abuse treatment to clients, the community, referring agencies, and other involved parties. Vision

Support Systems Homes' vision is to help as many alcoholics and addicts as possible to learn the tools of recovery. Through the programs we offer, alcoholics and addicts will not only learn how to abstain from mind-altering substances, but learn to do so in environments that are safe, welcoming, respectful, and empowering.

Core Values

Support Systems Homes is guided by a set of core values intrinsic to services provided and evidenced in our relationships with clients, staff, and stakeholders. Our values are evidenced throughout our complete continuum of care, which includes Detoxification, Residential Treatment, Day Treatment, several levels of Outpatient treatment, and longer-term sober living environments. Our Family Program welcomes family members with educational groups and information on addiction and alcoholism. Continuing Care, Aftercare and Alumni activities ensure that clients receive ongoing recovery support.

Often, those beginning the journey of recovery are suffering not only from the disease of addiction itself, but the consequences that accompany it, including a devastating lack of self-worth. At Support Systems Homes, we understand and promote the importance of showing those struggling with addictions that they are deserving of respect and are on a path that will naturally lead to the recovery of their dignity.

Support Systems Homes' staff serve as client advocates both on an individual basis, and by continually working within our communities to reduce the stigma associated with chemical dependency.
