CARF Accreditation
Since 2000, Support Systems Homes has been accredited by CARF, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities for the following alcohol and drug treatment programs:
- Detoxification
- Residential Treatment
- Day Treatment
- Intensive Outpatient Treatment
Support Systems Homes is surveyed periodically by CARF to ensure that our programs continue to conform to the highest standards. We have received the highest level of accreditation possible every time.

California State Licensing/Certification
Support Systems Homes’ programs and facilities are licensed and certified, as applicable, by the California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs (ADP). ADP was created by the California Legislature in 1978, “to lead efforts to reduce alcoholism, drug addiction and problem gambling in California by developing, administering and supporting prevention, treatment and recovery programs.” Their vision is,” to have Californians understand that alcoholism, drug addiction and problem gambling are chronic conditions that can be successfully prevented and treated.”
ADP has the sole authority in state government to license adult alcoholism or drug abuse recovery or treatment facilities. Licensing and certification through ADP ensures that, “quality services are provided to all program participants in a safe and healthful environment .” |
